Our love for the classic lines of the vintage motorcycle has driven our business. We feel every bike is beautiful in its own way and sometimes our old loves just need a little help. That's why we are here. Our master builder has over 30 years experience with American made motorcycles and our specialists are detailed in researching new old stock (NOS) and paint patterns from long ago. We pride ourselves in being the best in vintage motorcycle restoration. Let us get your ride back to original (or better) condition. Shipping is available.
Have you upgraded your motorcycle? Do you want a true value for your ride instead of what the insurance agent tells you what your bike is worth? Perhaps a vintage motorcycle is in your garage and you don't know what the value is? Did you know Vintage V-Twin performs motorcycle appraisals on Harley Davidsons?
Sadly some of our customers have met the pavement and that is why an appraisal is so important. We have worked with insurance claims adjusters as well to get the rider back on the road. Having your ride appraised is a worth while investment. Click here for a specialist to contact youOr give us a call at HOG FIX 1 (509-464-3491) to speak to a real live vintage specialist.

A conversation with Vintage V-Twin

“The most important thing about Vintage V-Twin is that I want it to be like the bike shops that I used to go to. A place where people feel comfortable to hang out and shoot the shit with each other. I think that riders are tired of the glitz and disco effect most bike shops have today”, says Bill Tillie, owner of Vintage V-Twin. “I want to give people another alternative to have their rides worked on and treat each scooter as if it was my own. Deep inside every motorcycle is a show bike waiting to be unleashed. Every rider is treated with respect. Every bike is so distinctive and every rider matches the persona of their ride.”

“Now-a-days old Iron Head Sportys are snubbed out of shops like second class bikes. I rode an old Sporty for eight years, and sometimes, my only mode of transportation in Jersey”, states Bill. “No one will touch these old bikes and they are so beautiful. Real Milwaukee Iron. People should realize that Shovels on down are worth money and they are riding on an investment. You can’t ride your 401K and you can’t shine it up so others can ask you questions about it. When’s the last time you’ve seen a custom coin collection”?

“I have been making old rides new ever since I was a kid. I used to go with my grandfather on garbage days and pick up old bike frames, fix ‘em and sell ‘em to the kids on my block. Then I started adding engines to these frames, damn near killed myself, but did I have fun”.
I was inspired by my Uncle Tony’s Knucklehead to get into Harleys. He bought it new back in the day and I never forgot how the engine rumbled and the chrome glistened in the sun”.

“Racing Bultacos in the 70’s and breaking track records was a blast. I was sponsored by Harley Davidson of Rockland, New York. Joe St. Lawerence, Bob Mauriello and Steve “Bird” Parker were my mentors (if Bob Mauriello sounds familiar he was the NHRA Top Fuel Drag Champion for Harley Davidson 1970-1972). These guys taught me true craftsmanship that you cannot get at a tech school”.

“I finally stepped out on my own. This has been a life long dream of mine and the shop is 100% self financed (I have sold my toys and logged my property so I don’t owe nobody nothing). After I lock up, I turn up the tunes and start wrenching and I think to myself I wish I would have done this years ago. This has to be the coolest job in the world”.

“What do I want people to know about my shop? You and your ride are valued as real people and you can say things like Shovel, Pan, Knuck, Flathead and Sporty with out being snubbed. The shop is not like a bike show and I am just an ordinary guy who rides a Shovel. This shop is for real riders. If you want the glitz go somewhere else, my shop is not for you. If you want someone who knows what they are doing, come see me, the coffee is on”.
